This auspicious day, also known as Sakat Chauth, is dedicated to the worship of Lord Ganesha. Because the Sanskrit term “sankashti” signifies “deliverance from turbulent or difficult times,” worshipping Lord Ganesha on this day will bring you peace and prosperity in the future. On this day, devotees frequently fast in order to be free of obstructions. Lord Ganesha is revered as the God of Wisdom and Fortune. Sankashti means “relief from difficulties.” Lord Ganesha is said to alleviate troubles and eliminate impediments for believers. Sankashti Chaturthi is observed every month on the 4th day of Krishna Paksha, according to the Hindu Lunar Calendar. Sankashti Chaturthi is one of the most auspicious days for pleasing Lord Ganesha. As previously said, Lord Shiva declared his son Ganesha to be superior to all gods on this day. Before undertaking any rites or beginning a new business, Lord Ganesha is worshipped. He is also known as Vignaharta and is venerated as the god of wisdom (the one who clears all obstacles).
