For the first time it is found in Kenya near Tsavo National park. Thus, its name is given after the National park. Tsavorite comes in the very premium variety of gemstones due to its rarity and command high price. Though the Tsavorite Garnet mainly comes from Tanzania. The colour of Tsavorite is like of a rival Emerald. Unlike Emerald, it very often exhibits quite far few inclusions, and can be flawless. It is too rare in the nature when compared to the Emerald. The most desirable colour of Tsavorite is a deep emerald green, on the other side, lighter tones. Yellowish hues are not very much desirable and are less demanded in the global market.
