She was very happy to hear this from the Goddess and as soon as she said it was right, her husband’s body became free from the grace of Maa Durga. Seeing the healthy body of her husband, the girl was very happy and started praising Mother Durga, she said, O mother, you are the one who removes all the sorrows of the people, the one who gives the desired fruits and the one who removes all the sorrows of the people. Mother Bhagwati, who removes all these sorrows of mine, I bow down to you, protect me. Hearing this talk of the girl, Maa Durga said, if you have any wish, then ask for that too, the girl said, Mother, if you are happy with me, then please tell me in detail the method of Navratri fasting and its fruits.

After that install the statue or picture of Maa Durga near that post, apply tilak to Maa Durga, apply tilak on coconut also, after that offer garland of flowers to Maa Durga. Offer flowers, garland, Akshat, Roli, betel nut, long cardamom, batasha in paan to Maa Durga, after that offer food to Maa Durga.
